The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane

I just finished re-reading "The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane", by Kate Dicamillo. It's written very simply, and is only a 2 hour read at most, but it is a wonderful book. I highly recommend it. It is a wonderful book to read aloud, especially to a child that you love. It touches very poignantly on subjects of loss, death, love, and hope. It expresses the raw reality of life, while creating a safe situation for the young to learn. I always cry when I read it, and I'm sure that I will cry when I read it to any future children I may have. Go to your local library and use it for storytime tonight.

May your heart be open to love,

Natalie
